A body in charge of water supply, sanitation or water resources is eligible to become a regular member of the Assocoation. These members can be Basin Water Boards, Water User Associations (WUAs), Water Supply and Sanitation Authorities (WSSAs), Community Water Supply Organisations (COWSOs), Water Supply Companies, Water Supply Trustees and the like. Regular Members pay their annual fees basing on their internal revenue collections.
Any agency undertaking technical, economic or legal works, training or research related to water sanitation and to water resources in Tanzania may become an affiliated member. This category includes water and sanitation service vendors, water bottlers, manufactures of water supply materials, water well drillers, water engineering and plumbing works, research and training institutions.
Individual membership comprises different experts and professionals in the water sector who happened to be serving the industry through different organizations. Any individual dealing directly or indirectly with water resources, water supply and sanitation in Tanzania is eligible to be an Individual Member.
A Student Member can be any individual who is a regularly enrolled college or university student who spends at least one-half of his study time on academic course work or equivalent pertaining to water resources, water production, water supply and sanitation services.
